Agriculture Support Program
Agriculture is the largest employment sector in Bangladesh. A plurality of Bangladeshis earns their living from agriculture. Bangladesh Govt. has taken an initiative for crops loan to the small/marginal/landless and low-income peoples. To alleviation of poverty, create employment, human resources development, food security, and other economic and social development ADESH has been conducting “Agriculture Project” supported by the Basic Bank Limited.

Outcomes
- Their income rate has been increased of a large number of women farmers through this project. At present the participation of women has been increased in economic activities and balanced the gender equality.
- Before this program there most of the farmers were bounded by as usual loan from local small investors but right now its percentage has been decreased.
- All sorts of materials related to the production of crops in time which ensured the farmer’s safe access.
- Their family food supply has been increased individually and the local food production has been increased.
