Gender Equality
Since 1992 ADESH has implemented the “POWER” project partnership with Diakonia. The full form of “POWER” is Participation-Oriented Women Empowerment for Rights. The aim of this project is to continue its work to systematize, sensitize, and voice rise, also collective action for gender also to build up rights for women who are enormously helpless to gender discrimination, neglect, abuse and sexual harassment. After COVID-19 affected economical condition has been fallen in whole worldwide. From 30th December 2020 this project has been phase out.

Outcomes:
- GRP (Girl’s Right Protector) group member’s knowledge has been increased on gender equality, dowry, girl’s rights, human rights, child’s rights and child marriage through GRP group training.
- Girl’s mobility and knowledge on the bad effects of early marriage have been increased.
- School based Adolescent group’s knowledge on confidence about self-protection, family law and rights has been increased.
- ADESH good networking with different duty bearer and stakeholder like NGO has been increased through observe different day observation.
- ADESH staff knowledge and skill on programme level has been increased.
- Legal Aid Committee member’s knowledge on case solves of disputants has been increased.
- Adolescent’s group awareness has been increased on gender equality, human rights, child marriage, and government hot line through study circle.
- Coordination with all groups (GRP, DMC, Adolescent group, RMG and NJK) has been increased.
- DMC group member’s knowledge has been increased on disaster and the preparation for the effective response.
- Our RMG group member’s awareness has been increased on reproductive health rights and gender.
